Emerge Program – Changing lives in the hard

Parishes within South Western Sydney have been privileged to serve and support migrant members of community in their walk to know and love Jesus Christ.

In the current COVID-19 climate, however many have either lost jobs or are struggling to find meaningful employment.

The Emerge Program was established in partnership with ENC to address this need and to provide a vehicle to engage with the broader migrant community in South Western Sydney. It’s how we are actively loving our migrant brothers and sisters in their current hardship.

The lack of financial support available to migrants has provided an opportunity for Anglican Parishes to support this need.

Currently, the key barriers to employment include low English literacy, lack of driver’s licence or vehicle, and lack of appropriate job credentialing.

Since establishing the Program, we have secured committed employer partners to provide the jobs, we just need your help in developing the confidence of our brothers and sisters with the right training and a way to get to work.
